Here are the running averages for the year. Our system is roughly a 2/3 system. In other words, on average, we generate 60% of our energy from our PV panels. We could make up that 1/3 through some gains in efficiency, more thermally efficient windows or adding more solar panels. With the reductions in cost of solar hardware it might be a tossup as to which is the better option. I think I am going with the window option.
The histogram for the year is a different way of displaying the same info. Each day is stacked according to the percent of total energy used generated by solar. If we were to divide the year by wet and dry season we would most likely see the system operating at a higher level in the spring than the cloudier rainy season.
